The agreement will finance six scholarships for training and accompaniment to teachers from Enseña Chile

The aim is to contribute to the social development of the communities in which Solarpack and Enseña Chile established this alliance, which will impact more than 1,700 students in the Tarapacá region, specifically in the areas of Iquique and Alto Hospicio, through the training of six professionals who are carrying out the Collective Leadership Program.

For Pablo Burgos, CEO of Solarpack, "being part of this project together with Enseña Chile, which promotes quality education, fill us with satisfaction. Moreover, this collaboration is part of our Social Action Plan, built on three pillars: Energy - in line with the company's aim to universalise access to clean energy -, Education and Employment, and it reinforces our firm commitment to Chile and the socio-economic development of this country".

The Regional Director of Enseña Chile in the north, Paulina Olguín, indicated that "the shortage of teachers in the northern part of the country is alarming. Year after year many schools in vulnerable contexts start classes without a full staff due to the existing shortage of teachers in the area, so through the help of Solarpack, we not only provide tools that will benefit the professional training of teachers who are currently in the classrooms of the region, but also improve the learning experience of hundreds of students in vulnerable situations in Tarapacá".

The agreement will also ensure the broadcasting of the eleventh season of La Radio Enseña, an educational podcast broadcast on the Almontina, El Salar and Voltaje radio stations in Pozo Almonte, reaching a population of approximately 15,800 people.

Enseña Chile is a non-profit foundation with more than 14 years of experience that seeks to build a broad and diverse network of leaders committed to impact in Chile from the classroom and from different areas of the education system. The work focuses on students, teachers and management teams through three programmes: it trains and accompanies teachers, it also advises school leaders and management teams to build environments that enhance management, leadership and continuous learning. And finally, they create motivating pedagogical resources so that students can experience a passion for learning.
