Solarpack's shareholders have launched the EKI Foundation to provide standalone sources of renewable (chiefly solar) energy for schools, health and community centers in developing countries.

The Foundation prioritizes projects in schools and health centers that do not have a stable and sustainable electricity supply, wherever they are. Based on the energy needs of each project, it designs autonomous electricity generation installations, as well as supervising the installation and startup of equipment.

Solarpack aims to supply all the elements needed for this project to get off the ground, providing its energy industry experience to deliver electricity from the sun to those places where it is needed most.
