According to its aim to universalise access to clean energies

Last September, at Solarpack's solar photovoltaic plant in the city of Tacna, the Centre for Education, Organisation and Promotion of Development in the province of Ilo (Ceop Ilo) received a donation of 14 solar panels from Solarpack. These will be installed at the Early Stimulation Centre for the Development of Innovative Enterprises - CETDEI, in Ilo (Moquegua), and will serve to promote the use of renewable energies in the population of the region.

These panels will run as the main source of energy for the CETDEI , allowing it to operate with renewable energy. This centre, also the result of cooperation between Solarpack and ODP Jesuitas of Peru, was inaugurated last June and offers services such as capacity building in entrepreneurship, consultancy and environmental awareness.

Christian Canturin - responsible for the solar photovoltaic plant - and Jorge Lamas - executive director of Ceop Ilo - were attending at the donation ceremony and shook hands as a sign of commitment and collaboration. Their respective teams were also at the event.

The Ceop Ilo team highlighted the importance of Solarpack's support to projects such as this one, which promote the use of renewable energies, entrepreneurship and innovation in Moquegua and contribute to the development of the region.
