Solarpack has commissioned three solar plants, Achampet, Padmajiwadi and Renjal, with a total capacity of 45.5 MW DC, in the Indian state of Telangana. Achampet and Padmajiwadi will each generate 21,000 MWh of clean energy a year. Renjal, meanwhile, will provide 31,600 MWh a year. Another three solar plants that Solarpack has in India will enter service in the coming weeks.

The state electricity distribution companies TSNPDCL and TSSPDCL will buy the electricity for 25 years under a long-term power-purchase agreement. This was Solarpack’s first contract in India and the plants are expected to generate around 160 GWh a year.
