Solarpack appoints Robert Hienz as CEO of Germany Business Unit

Solarpack aims to build a billion-euro business in Germany, equipped with a strong senior executive team to facilitate rapid growth, targeting a 7 GW multi technology renewables pipeline, and 1 GW of signed PPAs by the end of 2026.

Solarpack is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Hienz as the new CEO of its Germany Business Unit, effective May 6. With over two decades of experience in the energy sector, including a notable tenure at E.ON where he led the German multi-billion sales business, and recently as CEO of Mobility House, Robert brings deep industry expertise and leadership to his new role.

With a proven track record of successfully establishing and leading businesses large and small, Robert will be instrumental in developing and executing the market strategy for Solarpack operations in Germany, focusing on both organic and inorganic growth. Solarpack aims to build a billion-euro business in Germany, equipped with a strong senior executive team to facilitate rapid growth, targeting a 7 GW multi technology renewables pipeline, and 1 GW of signed PPAs by the end of 2026.  Robert's appointment as CEO is an exciting next step towards these goals.

Aligned with Germany's ambitious goals to cut emissions by 65% by 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2045, Solarpack is dedicated to supporting Germany and its global and local clients in their decarbonization efforts. Solarpack is actively expanding its team in Germany, and Robert’s appointment is anticipated to accelerate such efforts.
