Recognise organisations that are transforming their business models with the aim of mitigating the negative impacts of climate change and helping to create a more sustainable future.

Solarpack has been awarded by leading sustainable finance publication Environmental Finance with one of its Sustainable Company 2023 awards, which recognise organisations that are transforming their business models with the aim of mitigating the negative impacts of climate change and helping to create a more sustainable future.

Specifically, Solarpack received the award in the category "Community Involvement Programme of the Year, Americas" for one of the initiatives that the company launched in Chile together with the Salesian School Santo Domingo Savio.  This award recognises companies that promote social responsibility not only within their own organisation, but throughout their community, and reflects Solarpack's commitment to contribute directly to the social development of the communities and markets in which the company operates.

The collaboration agreement with the Salesian School Santo Domingo Savio in Chile, which has been in place since 2018, includes vocational technical training for the school's students in the installation and maintenance of photovoltaic solar energy systems. This initiative highlights Solarpack's commitment to education and sustainable development.

"Through this project we aim to promote photovoltaic vocational training among students, supporting the development of young professionals in Chile and facilitating their access to sustainable green jobs. The initiative is aligned with Solarpack's so-called 3Es of Social Action, which correspond to Education, Employment and Energy, and represents the strengthening of our firm commitment to Chile and the socio-economic development of this country," said Leo Moreno, CEO of Solarpack.

Solarpack has contributed 29,ooo € (31,000 dollars) to the programme, which has already benefited 194 students.
